Distance A bachelor of science and technology, or B.Tech, was previously awarded. The course must last a minimum of four years. IGNOU offers distance learning BTech programmes, with a maximum 6-year completion time. Academic and practical knowledge are both included in the B.Tech degree. With the assistance of JSS Bangalore, IGNOU offers distant learning BTech programmes. However, enrolling in a BTech course via distant learning is ineffective since the distance learning BTech programme itself is ineffective. As the course does not fall within AICTE guidelines, the Supreme Court of India rejected admission of the distance-learning BTech degree in any organisation for employment.
