The Nalanda Open Institution, also known as NOU, is a state university that was founded to support online and remote learning throughout the Bihar state. The institution was founded in 1987 and provides undergraduate, graduate, and diploma programmes for students. The International Council of Open and Distance Education, the University Grants Commission, the Distance Education Council, and AIU have all given their approval to the Nalanda Open University (ICDE). NOU is a very reputable institution with 10 different schools operating under its umbrella. While the university does not currently offer remote MBA programmes, you can pursue PGDM degrees with several specialities.
