IGNOU PGDCA Admission 2025

Students must submit all the required documents and details correctly while filling out the application form. IGNOU PGDCA admissions are open. PGDCA program duration is 1 Year. The curriculum in this program is C and Python, Computer Organization, Operating Systems, etc. To be eligible for the admission process, students must have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.

IGNOU PGDCA Eligibility Criteria

IGNOU PGDCA Fees Structure

• Ignou pgdca course fees: ₹21,600 divided into 2 semesters.

Pay additional University Development fee after PGDCA admission. Rs. 200/- is collected by IGNOU as one time payment. Examination form fee for PGDCA theory subjects is Rs. 200/-. Practical PGDCA subjects is Rs. 300/-.

IGNOU PGDCA Syllabus ( Subjects )

The program is divided into 2 semesters per year (January to July and July to December). the exams will be conducted every year: one in the same  December semester courses. Students have the freedom to appear for any of the exams. Subjects are as follows with subjects.

IGNOU PGDCA Admission Process

1. Registration:  Visit ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and create a new user account using your email ID and phone number. You’ll receive login credentials for completing the admission process.
2. Documentation: Scan and prepare all required documents in specified formats (JPG/PDF).  all scans are clear and within the size limit (100KB-500KB per document).
3. Application Form Login to fill the PGDCA application form. Enter personal details, educational qualifications, and program preferences carefully. Review all information before proceeding.
4. Document Upload Upload all required documents through the portal. The system will verify document formats and sizes automatically. Ensure all mandatory fields are completed.
5. Fee Payment Pay the program fee of ₹10,800 (first semester) plus ₹300 registration fee through available payment modes (Net Banking/UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card).
6. Form Submission Submit the completed application and download the confirmation page. Note your application number for future reference.
7. Verification Process IGNOU will verify your application and documents. Track your application status through the admission portal using your credentials.

IGNOU PGDCA Term End Exams

The PGDCA program follows a comprehensive evaluation system combining continuous assessment and term-end examinations. Each course carries 70% weightage for term-end exams and 30% for assignments. Students must score a minimum of 40% separately in both components to successfully complete each course.

The university conducts term-end examinations twice a year (June and December). Theory papers are of 3-hour duration, while practical examinations are conducted at designated study centers. The grading system follows a 10-point scale, with grades assigned based on cumulative performance in assignments and term-end examinations.

IGNOU PGDCA Result

IGNOU Results will be declared 1 month after the Term End examination complete. Students who did not submit their assignments the result will marked incomplete. IGNOU Passing marks for PGDCA is 35%. Result includes marks of assignments, term-end exams, and practicals.
