IGNOU Re-registration 2025-26: The re registration has started on 2 December 2024 on the official website. All students in UG, PG must have re-registers for the next session of 2025.

The Last date for registration is 31 January 2025. Complete the process before the deadline. The Charge for Application is INR 300 only/-. The re registration fees for BAG 2nd year is INR 4400/-. Late fee for all courses is INR 200/- Students must log in using their enrollment number and password, choose their courses, and pay the required fee online. After payment, students should save and print the confirmation receipt for their records. The re-registration fee depends on the course. For example, students in the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program need to pay ₹4,400 for the second year. The payment can be made online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

  • To get started, click on “New Registration” to set up your account. Please provide accurate contact information, including your phone number and email address, to receive essential updates. If you already have an account, simply log in using your Username and Password. For any registration difficulties (e.g., not receiving OTP, forgotten credentials), reach out to your Regional Centre for assistance.
  • Course Selection: Choose your courses thoughtfully. Refer to the Program Guide to review available courses as changing a course later could impact your study schedule.
  • Online Payment Security: Exercise caution while making online payments. Avoid sharing your card details or OTP with anyone. It is recommended to use your card/net banking for transactions. Additionally, payments can be made through UPI or BHIM App. International students are encouraged to utilize the online payment methods specific to their regions.
  • Timely Submission: Avoid waiting until the deadline to submit your re-registration form.
  • Payment Verification: In case your online payment is not immediately reflected, refrain from making another payment right away. Allow a day, verify the payment status, and then proceed.
  • Duplicate Payments: If you accidentally make double payments for a single application, one of the transactions will be refunded to your account.
  • Third-Party Services: If using a cybercafé or third-party service to submit your re-enrollment form, ensure accurate course selection and successful payment. Obtain a printout of the submitted form and payment confirmation for your records.

IGNOU Re-Registration 2025-26 Overview 

The university started the re-registration process for those students who have been pursuing UG, and PG courses. Which are mentioned by the university for all the programs. Each course has separate fee criteria according to the subject selection. During the online registration process through the website portal, students do not have to revisit the admission form like in the first year; rather, they will be required to select courses and proceed for submission.

IGNOU UG Re-Registration 2025-26

Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the re-registration procedure for undergraduate courses in the July 2024-25 academic cycle. There are various UG-level courses such as BSc, BA, BA in Hindi, BA History, BA Political Science, BA Anthropology, BCom, BCA, BSW, and many others courses.

Students are required to visit the official portal of the university @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in to fill out the re-admission form. Through the portal, you can submit a re-registration form for the next year or semester with the submission of online payment.

  • IGNOU BSc Re-Registration: IGNOU Admission login validity for the BSc course till the last date for the January session 2024. Students can register on the website portal by going through the “NEW REGISTRATION” section and fill their Phone number, and email ID, if a student has already registered on a site have to log in with their credentials. The re-registration process is open for all specializations of BSc programs, such as botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, zoology, and more.
  • IGNOU BA Re-registration: The online procedure for IGNOU BA re-registration 2024 has been opened for all students. For the BA-based programs including English, Hindi, political science, history, and more re-registration forms are available on the portal @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. Students who want to register for next semester in the enrolled program can fill up the re-registration form because the last date will expire soon for the January session candidates.
  • IGNOU BCA Re-registration 2025: Reregistration of the IGNOU BCA program has been closed for 2nd-year students. On the official website, the forms are available for eligible students in IGNOU re-registration in July 2024. Students pursuing this degree can submit their requests within the given deadline.

IGNOU PG Re-Registration

Indira Gandhi National Open University has opened re-registration for the post-graduation level course in the July 2024-25 academic session. Students can visit the official university portal @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in to fill out the IGNOU PG re-admission form. The door of PG re-registration for the 2024 session has opened for MCA, MA in English, MCom, MSc, MSW, and other top-rated courses. It is important to note that students fill out the online re-registration form before the last date to avoid late fees of INR 500

  • IGNOU MA Re-registration: IGNOU MA Re-registration window is closed for various specializations, such as English, Hindi, Political Science, History, and more. For those who have finished their three years of undergraduate study or their first year of postgraduate study in the same field, the MA-based program.
  • IGNOU MBA Re-registration: Indira Gandhi National Open University has now opened the re-registration procedure for the MBA program in the July academic session. The official IGNOU website portal is a way for all the students of the previous year to register for a new semester. Various specializations are available in the MBA program. 
  • IGNOU MCA Re-registration: IGNOU re-registration is open for existing Master of Computer Application students in the July session. The university has released the re-registration forms on the official portal. Those students who have passed the TEE examinations are eligible to re-enroll for next year’s academic session in the IGNOU MCA program. Students who are currently studying at IGNOU University and have degrees are required to complete the re-registration process on time to go in the next semester or academic year.

IGNOU Re-Registration Form 2025

According to the IGNOU post, the portal has updated the final date for re-registration. Re-Registration Form for the much-awaited January 2025 session is open. The Re-registration portal is open for Indian & International students both.

If students fail to submit the online re-registration form 2025 on time or before the deadline, they will be asked to pay a late fee of INR 500. IGNOU Re-registration Steps

  • Students need to visit the official website of IGNOU @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in
  • Read the instructions & details given on the page.
  • After reading the instructions, Tick the Check box given at the bottom.
  • Click on the Button- “Proceed for Re-Registration
  • Enter using the USER ID or Enrollment Number and password.
  • Click on Continue, and Your Course Information will appear in the window, After Proceed.
  • Pay the IGNOU Re-registration fee for 2025, through any payment mode.
  • The students can pay the fee by debit card [Master/Visa], credit card [Master/Visa/Rupay], PNB ATM, and Net Banking.

IGNOU Re-registration Fee 2025

Ignou re registration fee are required to pay a re-registration fee which is divided into parts. For example, suppose any IGNOU student pursues the BA program, and the fee for the BA program is 12,000 rupees for the first time. In that case, they need to pay the fee in 3 parts according to the 3-year fee, In this case, IGNOU’s Re-registration fee is Rs. 4000 for the BA program. 

When the fee submission process is complete, the student will get the fee confirmation by email ID or by SMS on the registered mobile number. IGNOU Re-registration Fee depends on the course a student has selected for admission and the remaining amount due.

IGNOU Re-Registration for 2nd Year

Students can visit the university’s official website @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. IGNOU started the re-registration procedure for their students in the January academic session. Students who passed the first-year Term-end exams for any course, such as BABCABBCAMAMBAMCom, etc.. are eligible to enter into the next academic year, students must complete their re-registration before the last date.

IGNOU Re-registration Status 2025-26

After completing the re-registration form, students receive an SMS or confirmation mail from IGNOU University. If a candidate is logged in with the credentials provided at the time of registration, students can check the re-registration status by logging in with those credentials.
