IGNOU Admission 2023 July Session: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has begun the admission process for ODL and Online programmes for the July 2023 session. The extended deadline for IGNOU Admission 2023 July Session is July 31, 2023. Undergraduate and postgraduate certificate, diploma, and degree programmes are offered for enrolment. Students might apply for all UG, PG, Certificates, Diplomas, and PG Diplomas programmes at IGNOU's official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Online Application Form Filling Instructions

  1. If you are a first-time candidate, it is recommended that you click the available programme option on the homepage of the Online Admission System, pick the desired course, and carefully study the programme specifics, including eligibility criteria, cost details, duration, and so on.
  2. You are also encouraged to download the Common Prospectus and thoroughly read the University Rules as outlined in the Common Prospectus. 
  3. Fill out the relevant registration details by clicking the NEW REGISTRATION button that appears in the applicant login section.
  4. Please enter your own email address and cell phone number when registering.
  5. Remember that your UserName must be between 8 and 16 characters long.
  6. Your password must be alphanumeric and between 8 and 16 characters long.
  7. After entering the required information, click the "SUBMIT" button.
  8. Your username will be issued to you immediately via email and SMS.
  9. Keep your Username and Password handy for future logins.
  10. If you have previously registered, or if you are an existing user, click the "LOGIN" button.

Before filling out the online form, the candidate must have the following:-

  1. Photograph Scanned (less than 100 KB)
  2. Signature Scanned (less than 100 KB)
  3. Copy of necessary educational qualification scanned (less than 200 KB)
  4. Scan of Experience Certificate (if applicable) (less than 200 KB)
  5. Scanned copy of category certificate (less than 200 KB) if SC/ST/OBC
  6. Fees can be paid in the following ways:
  7. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
  8. Debit Card (Mastercard, Visa, or Rupay)
  9. Internet Banking

Scanning documents from originals is required. When you click the next button after uploading the document, you will see the Form preview option. Save or print your form for future use.

Please fill out the form completely. If you are utilising a cybercafe to fill out your form, please ensure that all details are correctly filled out and all essential documents are uploaded as directed. 

Registration Fee, Admission Cancellation, and Fee Refund

At the time of admission, a non-refundable Registration price will be paid in addition to the first semester/year programme price.

If a student requests a cancellation of application/admission and fee return, the request will be evaluated in accordance with the University policy, which is as follows:

  1. Before confirmation of admission: Full Programme fee paid shall be refunded.  

    After confirmation of admission:

    Within 15 days of confirmation of admission: Programme Fee paid shall be refunded after deduction of Rs.500/- .  

    Within 16-90 days of confirmation of admission:  Programme Fee paid shall be refunded after deduction of Rs.1000/- .  

    After 90 days of confirmation of admission:  No refund shall be allowed.
